• Day 3 | Arrival Rovaniemi & Northern Lights Chase

Early morning arrival in Rovaniemi – the capital of Finnish Lapland and official hometown of Santa Claus. The day is free for rest or independent exploration of the compact city center and enjoy your first opportunity to witness the magical Northern Lights.

• Day 4 | Rovaniemi – Free Day

Breakfast at the hotel. Free day in Rovaniemi. Visit Santa Claus Village or choose from exciting Arctic experiences.

• Day 5 | Rovaniemi – Saariselka (approx. 260 km)

Breakfast at the hotel, then check out. Travel by public bus from Rovaniemi north to Saariselka – 4 to 5 hour journey through Lapland's forests and open tundra, one of Finland's best Northern Lights destinations.

OVERNIGHT: Saariselka

• Day 6 | Saariselka – Glass Igloo Experience

Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a relaxed morning in Saariselka. Transfer independently or by hotel shuttle to the Kakslauttanen area for your glass igloo night. The unique thermal glass igloo design lets you watch the Arctic sky – and on a clear night, the Northern Lights – directly from the comfort of your bed.

The rest of the day is free to explore the peaceful Arctic surroundings..

OVERNIGHT: Saariselka – Glass Igloo

• Day 7 | Ivalo – Helsinki Flight (approx. 1,110 km)

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to nearby Ivalo Airport for your flight south to Helsinki. On arrival in Helsinki, make your way to the airport area hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.

OVERNIGHT: Helsinki Airport Area

• Day 8 | Helsinki – Departure

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Helsinki Airport and check in for your onward international flight. End of the Finnish Lapland program.

• Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and cannot be guaranteed.

• Clear skies increase viewing chances.

• Staying multiple nights in Lapland improves your chances significantly.

• Indian restaurants are available in Helsinki and Rovaniemi, though options become limited in smaller Arctic towns like Saariselkä.

• For many winter excursions, thermal overalls and boots are provided by the activity operator, but guests should still carry warm personal clothing.
